jaimerative.art creates bespoke real-time visuals for spaces, environments, and events — visuals that evolve, respond, and hold atmosphere over time and with intention.

I design real-time visual systems — modular, autonomous structures that can output visuals continuously and evolve over time. I create these systems with the intention of complimenting the space, bringing its environment to life, and supporting the experience of the people.

Key words:

  • Real-time visuals → Unique, generated visuals. Living, adaptive, & non-static.
  • Systems → A way of containing these visuals within a defined methodology. Once the system is built, it runs autonomously.
  • Environments → The physical spaces where the visuals are displayed. Overlapping the identities between the two.

I collaborate with many kinds of companies, artists, and environments — connecting between event organisers and clubs, creative directors and museums, brand experience teams and cultural spaces. I work with care for emotional and atmospheric nuance, collaborating in tandem with the space to ensure the visuals harmonize with its architecture, rhythm, and use.

Every piece is delivered with guidance and documentation, and instruction is provided on how to operate it independently.

The Unmanifested
A journey through the chakras. Real-time visuals made in TouchDesigner A journey through the chakras. Real-time visuals made in TouchDesigner forward

Concept

The Unmanifested simulates the liminal space which can only be accessed by living beings. This is where creativity originates. The formless, silent space from which all expression arises.

Intent

A space that's always accessible to living beings. The void, the darkness.

In an era where artificial intelligence increasingly shapes our reality, this work questions how we, as living beings, access the unmanifested — a realm AI can never fully mirror, only accessible through consciousness.

Visual Language

Visual structure is inspired by the seven chakras, expressed through color, rhythm, and form.

Each chakra is paired with a base animation derived from principles of sacred geometry, serving as an energetic and symbolic bridge between the immaterial and the visible. The animation moves the particles along the vector field of each visual.

System Architecture

The system is built in TouchDesigner.

A gradient ramp algorithm responds to each base animation and feeds into a GLSL vector field and instancing network, generating particle-based visuals that evolve continuously over time.

Post-processing and secondary effects shape the final atmosphere.

Responsiveness

Animations designed from sacred geometry act as triggers within the system.

These forms influence the movement and behavior of the particle field, allowing visuals to unfold dynamically according to the underlying structure rather than fixed timelines.

Controls & Autonomy

The system includes minimal controls, such as particle velocity, allowing subtle modulation without disrupting the flow.

Once initiated, the system runs autonomously — producing continuous variation without repetition.

Output & Installation

The system generates 98 unique visual outputs, rendered as video files in specific formats.

These are sequenced within a Resolume composition that runs automatically and adapts to different screen formats.

The work can also be mapped to non-traditional surfaces, including circular installations.

The Unmanifested is not a fixed artwork, but a living system.

By working with generative processes, sacred geometry, and real-time systems, this piece becomes a meditation on presence — a reminder that creativity does not originate from machines, but from the silent space within us.

Elements
Generative play of matter and resonance. Real-time audiovisual system made in TouchDesigner Generative play of matter and resonance. Real-time audiovisual system made in TouchDesigner forward

Concept

Elements is a generative visual system built around five Platonic solids, each associated with a classical element.

In this work, I borrow these sacred symbols to turn them into living entities — animated, responsive, and in continuous dialogue with sound.

Watching the shapes creates a meditative space where intentions can be focused upon and activated.

Here is the tetrahedron which is represented by the element of fire.

Visual Language

The visuals are composed of Platonic solids modeled in 3D and rendered as evolving point clouds.

Each form is colored according to the element it represents, allowing color, geometry, and motion to work together as a symbolic system.

Here is the Icosahedron which corresponds to the element of water.

System Architecture

The visuals are rendered in real-time through TouchDesigner.

Custom 3D assets are loaded and processed through a network of nodes that shape their movement, and density. Each form follows its own animation logic before being rendered as a point cloud and refined through post-processing and secondary effects.

Here is the octahedron, represented by the element of air.

Responsiveness

Sound influences the animation of each shape and the transitions between them, allowing the visuals to respond directly to their environment.

The system evolves in real time — guided by frequency, intensity, and rhythm.

Here is the hexahedron, corresponding to the element of earth.

Controls & Output

The system includes minimal controls, such as particle density, allowing subtle modulation without interrupting flow.

Once launched, the system runs autonomously — adapting continuously to audio input without manual intervention.

Here is the dodecahedron, represented by the element aether.

Elements is a study of form as frequency — a reminder that geometry is not static, but alive when placed in relation to sound, space, and intention.

Work with me

I'm Jaime — a real-time visual artist and experience designer working with generative systems, energy, and technology.

I created jaimerative.art as a space to design living visual environments. My work draws from anthropology, user experience design, and years of building and managing complex design systems, alongside live visual performance.

I approach each project as a living expression rather than a static artwork — shaped by the space, its rhythm, and the people who inhabit it.
